Overview

Manufacturing of wound care dressings

PolarSeal offers professional support from initial prototype development and clinical trial phases to the production of final parts, along with OQ/PQ validation. Our commitment to quality is underscored by our certification in ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 for our robust quality management systems. Furthermore, our facilities are registered and audited by the FDA, ensuring adherence to stringent regulatory standards.

PolarSeal utilizes our extensive background and experience within wound care manufacturing to convert raw materials into a variety of dressings including, hydrocolloid dressings, hydrogel dressings, super absorbent foam dressings and more.

  • Island Dressings: These self-adhesive dressings are designed to protect the wound site from external contaminants, fostering an optimal healing environment while allowing for flexibility and comfort.

Foam Adhesive Dressings: Providing excellent absorption capabilities, these dressings are adept at managing moderate to heavily exuding wounds, offering a gentle adherence that doesn’t harm the healing tissue.

Hydrogel Woundcare and Hydrocolloid Dressings: These formulations facilitate a moist environment for wound healing, aiding in debridement and promoting granulation, while also offering protection against bacterial contamination.

Semi-Permeable Dressings: These specialized dressings allow for the exchange of gases while maintaining a moist environment, promoting a conducive atmosphere for wound healing without compromising on protection.

Absorbent Dressings: Tailored to manage exudate effectively, these dressings prevent maceration and promote a clean, healing environment, ensuring optimal wound bed preparation.

Silicone Adhesive and PU Gel Dressings: These dressings provide a gentle yet secure adhesion, allowing for easy application and removal while supporting the healing process with their moisture-retentive properties.

Compression Dressings: Designed to manage edema and promote circulation, compression dressings aid in reducing swelling, improving blood flow, and facilitating the healing of wounds caused by venous insufficiency.

Non-Adhesive Foam Dressings: These dressings offer a non-adherent surface, making them suitable for wounds with fragile or sensitive healing tissue, promoting atraumatic dressing changes and maintaining a moist environment for effective healing.

Impregnated Active Dressings: Incorporating various active substances, such as antimicrobial agents or substances that stimulate tissue regeneration, these dressings are tailored to facilitate specific healing processes, promoting faster recovery and minimizing the risk of infections.

Antimicrobial Dressings: Equipped with agents that combat microbial growth, these dressings help prevent infections and support the body’s natural healing processes, making them particularly useful in the management of contaminated or infected wounds.
